Community Action

Summit County Children Services relies on the commitment of the communities it serves for assistance in furthering the completion of our mission.

While we are largely funded through taxpayer dollars, there are many needs of foster children and families that we cannot meet through those funds. To help fill these gaps in program resources, we rely on the generosity of businesses, places of worship, agencies and organizations, civic groups as well as families and individuals.

Additionally, we have an ever-growing number of children that our agency serves, which means that not only do we need to recruit additional parents, but also volunteers who can help us with various special programs throughout the year.
